Yosemite Institute

Summer field research

Students entering grade 11 can join park scientists in field research this summer. This is a unique opportunity for teens to investigate real questions about the biodiversity and health of the Yosemite National Park ecosystem with professional scientists. College credit and scholarships are available.

Armstrong Scholars

Inspired by former instructor Joie Armstrong, the Armstrong Scholars program brings young women, ages 15 to 18, together for an all-female summer backpacking adventure and educational experience in the spectacular High Sierra.

Bank of America Leaders Program

As part of the Student Leaders program, Bank of America will arrange 8-week PAID summer internships with select community organizations for Student Leaders, so they can experience firsthand how they can help shape their communities now and in

the future.  Bank of America will work with the Student Leaders to identify appropriate and meaningful internships with local community organizations. Student Leaders will participate in a leadership program with local Bank of America executives.

The Tech Museum Summer Camps

Summer Interns are typically upper-level high school students who have a strong background in math and science and a desire to impact kids.  Summer Interns will help with teaching and management in and out of the classroom.  They should be able to commit to 6 – 9 weeks of the summer.
