What it is...
Student Recognition Awards are an old tradition at Lynbrook where the PTSA and the school collaborate in a non-traditional kind of appreciation. Three times a year, teachers pick out a student or two who they feel have either done an amazing job of improving their grades, produced an outstanding assignment or made some other hugely positive contribution to the class.
Students are given a certificate and an appreciative pat on the back by the principal, as well as a Jamba juice gift card funded by the PTSA.
